People can give the gift of love this Christmas by taking part in Operation Christmas Child. This gives people the chance to fill a shoebox with toys, hygiene items and school supplies - as well as one of two special items you know a child will love such as a cuddly toy.

We will hold a service at Oxford Road Baptist Church on Sunday, November 17, at 10.45am when people can bring any filled shoe boxes where they will be blessed before being sent to the charity.

For further details of what you can put in the boxes and what you need to do see Mary Cornforth or visit Operation Christmas child here
