There are a number of different services across the Easter period where people can go to remember what Jesus did for us when he died on the cross and then rose again.
The Easter services start on Maundy Thursday, April 2, when we will join other Baptist churches across Hartlepool to mark the day before Jesus died. The service this year will be held at West View Baptist Church at 7.30pm.
On Friday, April 3, we are back at Oxford Road Baptist Church at 11am for our Good Friday service when Pastor Phil Dixon will be the speaker.
Then, on Easter Sunday, April 5, there will be a sunrise service at 6.15am on the Headland near the Heugh Battery.
We will then hold our Easter Sunday celebrations at Oxford Road. The morning service starts at 10.45am and will include children's groups for those three and over and there will be a creche for accompanied children aged two or under which includes a live stream of the service.
The evening service starts at 6.15pm when Pastor Phil Dixon will be the speaker. All are welcome at both services.
